  1. Oh, wahoo! Isn't it fun to see the garden changing on a daily basis? It's no wonder there are so many people that love it.

  2. Yay! Those peppers take forever to turn colors, don't they?

  3. Lori, I am always eager to get out to my garden each morning to see what has changed during the night. And then I look forward to a stroll in the evening to see the changes during the day. It never gets old. (smile) And if I am gone for more than a day, ... the anticipation for what I will find is high!!

EG, it does seem like it is taking forever for them to turn colors!! BUT, finally, I see progress!!

  4. Your mystery tomato plant is called a "Sun Sugar". One of the sweetest of cherry tomatoes and they are prolific! I have two that are close to seven feet tall right now and loaded with tomatoes. I eat them like candy and they are great in salads.

  5. Anonymous... thanks for the tip on the tomato plants. I want several of this type next year. I am excited that 2 of the suckers that I rooted from this plant have started to bear fruit. Several of my kids have discovered that they LOVE this little tomato so they are disappearing fast!!

  6. In looking online it says that the Sun Sugar is an orange ripening tomato but these ripen to a bright red. Do you think they are still "Sun Sugar"?

  7. From the pictures the ripe one's looked dark orange to me. If they go to dark red then it is not a sun sugar. You should try sun sugars next year though. They are so good!!
